WHC Uganda Community Center Nears Construction Start
WorldHope Corps Uganda is pleased to announce a major step forward in the development of its new headquarters and community center in Ssese, Jinja. This week, the project received stamped construction drawings and is now awaiting final approval from the Jinja municipal authorities. Once cleared, the building process will begin.

The proposed center will not only serve as WHC Uganda’s administrative hub but will also house a borehole to provide clean, reliable water, a coffee store to support the Shalom Coffee Cooperative and the new building for Hope Tailoring School. These facilities will play a vital role in strengthening local livelihoods, promoting economic empowerment, and supporting community development programs.
Artistic impressions of the planned site reflect a vision of a vibrant community hub designed to serve families, women, and youth with opportunities for growth, training, and entrepreneurship.

Meanwhile, Pastor Moses Baamu and his wife, Namazzi Annet, are currently touring the USA to promote this project and raise the necessary funds. They are sharing their inspiring story of transformation, from subsistence farming to small business through Shalom Coffee, and inviting new partners to join hands in bringing this center to life.
