In June 2023, a gifted team of eight (8) professional volunteers from the WorldHope Corps (WHC) embarked on a 10-day training mission in Uganda. This was the first return mission to Uganda since the COVID a pandemic and we were anxious to see how all the community development projects were doing.

In a heartfelt tribute, we remember and honor Josephine "Josie" Mae Dittrich, an extraordinary individual whose impact on WorldHope Corps will be forever cherished. Josie, a native of Kansas City, Kansas, and a resident of St. Simons Island since 2007, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023.

"Water is life" is not just a saying, it's a reality for millions of people worldwide who struggle daily to access clean water. In 2022, WorldHope Corps, through the generous support of its donors, constructed three wells in Malawi, bringing clean water to communities that had been deprived of it for far too long.
